Direct Access
Our Direct Access service at Aberdeen Cyrenians offers a safe, welcoming environment for anyone who may be struggling and in need of a helping hand.
No matter the situation, our Direct Access team are always on hand to offer non-judgmental advice and support. If you need food, somewhere to feel warm and sheltered or even just some quiet space for a cup of tea and a chat - we're here for you.
Please note - showering facilities are available on Wednesday and Friday afternoons by appointment.
Who we help
The service is available to people 16 years old and over who are:
Homeless
At risk of homelessness
Having difficulties in accessing benefits
Vulnerable or at risk
Struggling financially (including those who have no recourse to public funds).
How we help
Advice and support is offered in various forms and can include:
Advice on homelessness, housing issues and benefits
Access to our grocery store for food provision
Access to clothes and toiletries
Access to phones, computers, the internet and printing
Access to showers on Wednesday and Friday afternoons by appointment
Access to launderette facilities by booking system
Assistance with formal appeals
Advocacy and support
Referrals to internal and external agencies

How the service is accessed
No appointments are required to access the service.

We also accept referrals from other agencies, please download the relevant form, complete and return to dasreferrals@weareac.org
